My name is Sabura Chowdry and I am passionate about teaching. I am a mother of two children, 4 and 2. I have worked in many different fields, from being a Passenger Service Agent for major airlines, to working as an assistant administrator at a private school. Nothing excites me more than creating fun and educational content to teach children. I teach preschoolers by creating and organizing personalized curriculum for each of my students. I incorporate many teaching methods based on Montessori and play based learning. I coordinate programs for children at our local Islamic Center. At our monthly toddler’s club program, I organize science experiments and STEM based activities. Since the start of the pandemic, I have conducted multiple online classes for children ages 2 to 11. As a teacher, my expertise lies in early childhood education. I believe in teaching children in the way they perceive the world. One of the challenges we face in the Muslim community is to raise children according to the Quran and Sunnah. The lack of Islamic content in early childhood education is a major contributing factor. This is why I believe, instilling strong foundational knowledge early on in our children, is crucial. I am super excited to be a part of your child’s creative journey.
